Why do we exist? We saw a need in the HVAC industry for better service—work done right the first time, without shortcuts or pushy sales tactics. Meet The Owner
Our owner, Derien, grew up in Texas and began his HVAC journey there. Over 25 years ago, he made North Carolina his home, where he’s proudly planted roots. Married to a North Carolinian, Derien is a dedicated father of three and a grandfather of one—and his family shares his passion for serving the Piedmont Triad community.
Seventeen years ago, while working for another company, Derien noticed the HVAC industry needed a “better way” to serve customers—solutions done right the first time. He launched Diamond HVAC Services (named after his Rottweiler, Diamond) to fill that gap. As the company grew and the need to expand became clear, the name evolved to Diamond Heating & Cooling Services, Inc.
Through it all, Derien’s core values remain steadfast: honesty, integrity, and trust. These principles are woven into every service we provide. Derien’s vision is to build meaningful, long-term relationships with customers by listening first and then delivering solutions tailored to their needs.
